Bug ID: 696534
Summary: /TR entry from /ExtGState not rendered at all
Product: MuPDF
Version: master
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P4
Component: fitz
Assignee: mupdf-***@artifex.com
Reporter: ***@pragmata.tk
QA Contact: gs-***@ghostscript.com
Word Size: ---

Created attachment 12255

PDF file with non-rendered /TR from /ExtGState

In the attached document, mupdf-gl doesn’t honor the following code:

8 0 obj<< /Domain [0 1] /Range [0 1] /FunctionType 4 /Length 14>>stream
{ 1 exch sub }
endstream
endobj

/TR entries from /ExtGState don’t seem to be implemented yet.

Could they be implemented?

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo

gsx vs. mupdf-gl display

Inverted display on the left from gsx and normal display from mupdf.

original PDF image

Sorry, but I’m afraid it may be a bug.

If you see the original PDF file (attached now), the image has two frames. The
internal one belongs to the image. The external frame doesn’t belong to it.

In the inverted PDF file, the external frame isn’t displayed. /TR is applied to
it.

But for some strange reason it /TR isn’t applied to the spider image itself.

Because of that, I guess this is a bug (changing severity myself).
